The PTM-1645 is a sixteen-channel, high performance power amplifier designed primarily for use in multiroom installations where superior sound quality is demanded. Handcrafted in the United States to the rigorous quality and performance standards established by Audio Design Associates, the PTM-1645 matches perfectly with the Suite 8 x 8 and Suite 16 multiroom systems. The PTM-1645 can effortlessly deliver ample power to as many as sixteen pairs of speakers simultaneously.

This makes it possible for the PTM-1645 to power as many as four pairs of 8 ohm speakers per channel for a total of up to 64 speakers! The PTM-1645's enormous high current power supply and robust output circuitry provide stable 2 ohm operation. The PTM-1645 features ADA's cutting-edge PAC (Programmable Amp Controller) circuit, which enables RS-232 and/or DC triggering of independent zones.

This feature also makes it possible to have multiple amplifier channels track a specific room/zone when employing multiple speaker pairs in that area. The PAC circuit facilitates simple one touch operation to turn on a room in the multiroom system. The PTM-1645's rack mount design and detachable rear panel connectors make it easy to install into a standard 19-inch equipment rack. The PTM-1645's built in temperature control circuit helps maintain long-term reliability.
