There are both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs on the back. This unit is set up with 3 channels of amplification, but any two channels can be bridged to provide double the power into one channel. The reason for the exceptional sound is the massive1000 watt power supply (massive 1,000 VA toroidal power transformer) and 104,000 uF of capacitance to insure that each channel receives all the voltage and current it needs, regardless of input signal or speaker load. The bass is extremely tight, enough so that you could eliminate a sub-woofer. Voices are also extremely clean and clear.

This amp was one of the highest rated amps for its time for home theater. You will not be disappointed.
