The SVS Ultra Center channel has precision tuned SoundMatch three-way crossover with dual 6.5" glass fiber composite woofers, a vertically aligned 1" aluminum dome tweeter and 4 midrange driver.

The cabinet layout, the top-class components and build quality of the Ultra Center makes it into the top league of home cinema centre channel speakers. For the midrange, the Ultra Center has a solid 4 composite glass-fiber cone driver which is very stiff and has a mass ratio for high sensitivity and retaining pistonic behavior, beyond the band of the driver.

The midrange is contained in its own sub-enclosure and vertically aligned with the 1 aluminum dome tweeter which uses an FEA-optimised diffuser to ensure broad dispersion for a wide soundstage with near perfect on/off-axis frequency response. THe design of this speaker means it gives a large Sweet Spot so everyone can enjoy the same stunning clarity. All the components in this Center channel work in harmony to ensure crisp vocal clarity, dialogue intelligibility with powerful dynamics whilst anchoring the front stage with flawless transitional effects and a large soundstage. Whether you are listening to intense dialogue or the multi-layered, high-impact soundtrack of an action film, the Ultra speaker delivers a powerful and convincing audio experience. The Ultra Centre channel speakers cabinet has been designed for a specific acoustic purpose.

The tapered edges on the cabinets front baffle minimize any edge diffraction to ensure clear and precise soundstaging. Internally, the cabinet has separate sealed enclosures for the mid-bass drivers and tweeters to optimize their performance and minimize any interaction between them. Even the grille design is FEA-optimised to increase acoustic transparency. Rated bandwidth: 45-32k Hz (+/-3 dB). Recommended amplifier power: 20-225 watts.
